Bob Kellogg

Bob Kellogg's induction into the Metal Militia Hall of Fame is a testament to his unwavering dedication, both in military service and in his contributions to the powerlifting community.

​

A retired U.S. Navy helicopter pilot, Bob flew the Boeing Vertol CH-46D Sea Knight, a versatile tandem-rotor helicopter known for its critical role in transporting troops, supplies, and equipment during various military operations. His distinguished military career exemplified discipline, precision, and leadership—qualities that seamlessly transitioned into his civilian endeavors.

Beyond his military accomplishments, Bob has been a cornerstone of the Metal Militia for over 25 years. From the organization's inception, he played a pivotal role in orchestrating meets, securing sponsorships, and enhancing the overall performance of weightlifting contests. Often working behind the scenes, Bob's financial support and strategic counsel have been instrumental in the club's growth and success.

In addition to his contributions to the Metal Militia, Bob serves as the President of Warren Tire Service Center Inc., a family-owned business in upstate New York. Under his leadership, the company has expanded to 16 locations, celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2023. Bob's commitment to excellence and community service was recognized when he received the 2019 Tire Dealer Humanitarian Award.
